Product Description

This tote bag serves as both a carrying case and a protector for a seasoned campfire cook's most prized pot. Designed to carry a Lodge Dutch oven with a 10-inch-diameter and either a 3-1/2-inch or 5-inch depth, this tote keeps the main cookpot zipped away in its clean pouch until dinnertime. Made to be as rugged as Lodge's cookware, the bag is constructed of durable black polyester (which won't show the dirt) with a PVC backing to make it fairly weatherproof. Sporty polypropelene straps and a double zipper are secured with heavy-duty thread that can hold up through plenty of wear and tear. A thick, padded bottom on this tote protects surfaces from getting dinged by the ultra-heavy cast-iron pot inside. --Cristina Vaamonde

Can't camp without it! Perfect for carrying my dutch ovens easily to the campsite. Sturdy construction and protects my cast iron from rust.
Durable and a perfect fit

Fits the 10-inch Lodge Dutch Oven perfectly. The heavy canvas and strong stitching should last a long time.
10 Gold Stars from my Son-in-Law

I bought this pot, carrier, the tripod, gloves, lid lifter and trivet for Christmas for my son-in-law. He cooked dinner for my daughter and I and he absolutely loves all products. He said the pot, gloves and lid lifer work wonderful. He hasn't used the tripod yet. I won 10 gold stars from him.
Could Use a Solid Bottom

I like the product very much, but have added a 3/8" plywood bottom cut to 10" diameter to prevent the legs from wearing through the foam.
Great product but could be improved

I share the same concern with the other reviewers: the bags bottom needs to be reinforced. I use a tin plate of the same diameter.
Otherwise, these bags are really ideal for storage and transport. The 12" and larger bags accommodate the lid lifter even though the end of it will stick out a little bit from the zippered lid of the bag but it's not really a problem.
Agree that they are a bit pricey for what you're getting but with proper care they will last.
